To meet the growing demand for our technology, we are seeking a Mechanical engineer who would enjoy taking a great deal of responsibility for the ongoing development and interaction with supplier/vendors as well as implementation of technology on projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Deploy engineering experience and advanced knowledge of compressors/ expanders/pumps to select the preferred equipment for project specific applications and optimizations
- Engage in detailed dialogue regarding equipment optimization and selection as well as manage relationship with external suppliers
- Engage in detailed dialogue with customers with regards to varying application opportunities
- Perform technical calculations and prepare preliminary equipment data sheets
- Present CO2 Capsol technology in client meetings and exhibitions
- Take an active role in design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID, risk assessments
- Be an important contributor to the company collaborative culture and social environment
Ideal candidate / Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in the selection/sizing and optimisation of compressors/expanders/pump equipment – preferably from a supplier/vendor
- Project management skills to lead/manage interactions with supplier/vendor as well as customers
- Ideally experience in steam cycles and power plant applications, but not mandatory
- Master’s, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering related field
